ENDURO Ice 80

Tear-resistant translucent paper. Ideal for tear-resistant, translucent envelopes, banners, durable inserts, document sleeves or outer packaging with barrier function.

ENDURO Ice 80 is a unique composite material consisting of a 50 µm PP film core and wafer-thin, white natural paper surfaces. The three-layer product structure is durable, resistant to edge tearing and water impermeable. It gives all ENDURO Ice grades identical translucency with an elegant feel and a finely ribbed appearance. This enables applications in areas where conventional translucent papers reach their limits by comparison. It can be cut, punched, perforated, drilled, embossed, scored, folded, glued and bound without issue. Also suitable for hot foil stamping.

The high-quality paper surfaces offer optimized feed properties and printing results. Thanks to the slightly absorbent surface, all common standard inks and varnishes can be used with thin ink application in offset printing. For more challenging layouts with higher colour saturation, we recommend printing inks with oxidative drying or UV-reactive inks. Suitable for laser printing and printing on HP Indigo sheet-fed printing systems, taking our processing instructions into account.

    Food contact
Please inform us whenever intended use is linked to food contact.
It may be possible to provide a Declaration of Compliance confirming material suitability for your specific application.

    Waste disposal
Due to the film content of over 50%, paper recycling is not recommendable for this product. Smaller quantities can be disposed of together with household waste. ENDURO Ice 80 is considered commercial waste similar to household waste. It is biologically neutral when landfilled.
In most cases, incineration with energy recovery is the most efficient solution from an economic and ecological point of view.
Larger quantities should be disposed of in accordance with local and national regulations. We recommend enquiring with the responsible waste disposal company.
